Eras
The game divides American politics into six eras, and each era has its own cast of voters. When the game's calendar passes from one era into the next, the cast changes. The era decides which voters are in the focus group (thirty in the later eras and twenty-four in the earlier ones), which stakeholder groups exist, how the electorate of each state is made up, and which historical period the game's text generation is set in. The rules of play are the same in every era.
