No Hints

No Hints is a switch on the setup screen. With it on, the game stops offering suggested answers: the event card and the campaign event show no list of ideas, and every policy and every campaign response has to be written from a blank box. The setup screen explains the switch in three short phrases: no suggestions, no ideas, every policy and campaign response written from scratch.
What it removes
Most authored events carry a short list of suggested responses, sitting behind a line reading "Stuck? Click for inspiration" that opens a list of chips; clicking a chip copies its text into the policy box. Campaign events carry the same line above their response box. No Hints leaves both lists out. The event's headline, description and context stay exactly as they would otherwise be; only the list of suggestions disappears.
What it does not remove
Two career-mode cases keep their own help regardless of this setting. A legislator's desk event carries a lightbulb that writes three suggested positions on request, and a career event with no authored suggestions, such as a press booking or a question on air, gets the same lightbulb. Neither is affected by No Hints. The switch also leaves the West Wing advisor, a manifesto's drafted version, and the debate's draft button untouched; none of these count as the suggestion chips the switch removes.
Access
The switch is free and available to every account. It changes only what is shown to the player; it does not affect how the game's difficulty behaves, which is the separate Difficulty setting. It is offered on the career builder, off by default, and carries over with a career's other choices. Workshop packs cannot set it.
