This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. In these terms, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the operators of Fantasy President Career. We are based in the United Kingdom and act as the data controller for information collected through this service.

We do not collect your name, phone number, physical address, or any special category data (such as health, ethnicity, or political opinions). The policy choices you make inside the game are fictional gameplay decisions, not expressions of your personal views, and we do not treat them as such.
Under the UK GDPR, we rely on the following lawful bases:
Contract performance — processing your account data, game saves, and payment information is necessary to provide you with the service you signed up for.
Legitimate interests — we use referral source data and conversion tracking to understand how players find the game and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. We have assessed that this is proportionate and does not override your rights, given that the data involved is limited and non-sensitive.
Consent — if you opt in to marketing emails, we rely on your consent to send them. You can withdraw this consent at any time.
We share your data only with the service providers we need to run the game. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

When your policy choices are sent to AI providers for game responses, they are sent without your email address, name, or any other personal identifier. Anthropic and xAI process the gameplay text only and do not receive information about who you are.
Several of our processors (Clerk, Stripe, Render, Anthropic, xAI) are based in the United States. These transfers are permitted under UK GDPR because these providers participate in recognised data protection frameworks or we rely on standard contractual clauses as appropriate safeguards.
We keep your account and game data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days. Payment records are retained as required by UK tax and accounting obligations (typically 6 years).
We do not use traditional cookies. We use browser local storage to remember your referral source (UTM parameter) so we can attribute your sign-up correctly. The X (Twitter) tracking pixel sets its own cookies to measure advertising conversions — see X’s privacy policy for details on how they handle this data.
Under the UK GDPR, you have the right to:
Access your personal data and receive a copy of it.
Rectify inaccurate data we hold about you.
Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”).
Restrict processing in certain circumstances.
Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

The free tier of the game is available to users of all ages. Paid subscriptions require users to be at least 18 years old, or to have parental or guardian consent, as set out in our Service Terms. We do not knowingly collect more data from younger users than from any other user.
